CUNNINGHAM JUDGES 
WATER TASTE TEST 
Mar. 28, 2024 | Illinois Chamber Infrastructure Council’s Andrew Cunning­
ham had the pleasure of serving as a judge for the Illinois Section AWWA Dis­
trict 3 water taste test. This annual event co-created and hosted by HDR brings 
together water producers from across the region to earn the right to compete at 
WATERCON.  Congratulations to Collinsville Water Department!
CHAMBER TEAM ON THE MOVE 
Feb. 5, 2024 | Laurie Silvey, the Illinois Chamber’s VP of Business Services, 
attended the Association of State Chamber Professionals Winter Conference in 
Phoenix, Arizona on February 1st. Attendees discussed how to establish rela­
tionships through involvement, team building, and shared ideas that work (and 
don’t). Thank you for inviting us! 
Feb. 5, 2024 | Thank you to the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, 
particularly President and CEO Mike Murphy and Melissa Horn, for orga­
nizing such a lavish Annual Gala on Friday night. We enjoyed the event and 
networking with everyone, helping to make Illinois the best place to work and 
do business. Look forward to what the future will bring!
SANDOVAL SHARES CHAMBER’S 
FUTURE VISION 
Feb. 23, 2024 | Thank you for inviting Lou Sandoval, President and CEO of the 
Illinois Chamber, to speak at the Southland Black Chamber of Commerce & 
Industry’s first corporate dinner last night at the Union League Club of Chi­
cago. During his presentation, Lou discussed his professional career prior to 
joining the Illinois Chamber and his ideas on the Chamber’s future vision and 
principles.  The group was also able to celebrate President Sandoval’s birthday! 
Thank you, Dr. Cornel Darden Jr. and team for putting on such an exceptional 
evening!
