Mar. 7, 2024 | Lou Sandoval, President and CEO of the Illinois Chamber of 
Commerce has been selected as a new member of The Economic Club of Chi­
cago. The ECC is a prestigious group of influential business and civic leaders 
in the city. Established in 1927, it serves as a platform for members to discuss 
and connect on important social and economic issues. It’s a great honor for Lou 
Sandoval to be chosen as a member of this esteemed club!

Mar. 21, 2024 | Wrapping up a couple of days of our quarterly board meeting 
in Springfield hosted by member company Hanson Professional Services Inc.
Thank you Jeff Ball and Callie Brenden for making the magic happen! Many 
thanks to our amazing board members for an engaging session. To our govern­
ment affairs team for a phenomenal presentation on all the great things they are 
working on for Illinois Businesses.
Mar. 6, 2024 | The Illinois Chamber of Commerce is proud to be part of a 
multi-association coalition for the creation of Business Improvement Districts 
along Michigan Avenue- SB 3679 Sara Feigenholtz, State Senator. President 
and CEO Lou Sandoval was alongside coalition partners the Magnificent Mile 
Association, BUILDING OWNERS AND MANAGERS ASSOCIATION OF 
CHICAGO, Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Southland Black Chamber 
of Commerce & Industry, and Illinois Retail Merchants Association as the bill 
passed executive committee and is headed to the floor.
