STATE LEGISLATIVE AGENDA
2025
The Illinois Chamber of Commerce represents over 3,000 member companies
from across the state—representing employers of every size, sector, and
industry. Today, Illinois businesses benefit greatly from the State’s tremendous
assets: Illinois’ place as a national transportation hub, a strong talent pipeline, a world-class higher
education system, and a growing center of tech development and innovation.
However, businesses continue to be impacted by rising costs of goods, lingering
impacts of inflation, workforce shortages, and burdensome mandates. Below
are pro-growth legislative proposals that the Chamber hopes to work with the
General Assembly and Governor’s Office on to spur economic development and
create good jobs in Illinois.
