POST HOLIDAY LUNCHEON
Jan. 18, 2025 | The Illinois Chamber of Commerce kicked off the new year
with the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce Executives at the Annual Post
Holiday Luncheon. It was great to see all of our chamber colleagues from the
various chambers. The chamber network is a valuable asset to chambers large
and small. President Lou Sandoval and Ryan Gleason from the U.S. Chamber of
Commerce addressed the group in the great things happening at the local and
national level. Thank you to Dave Carlin of the Greater Oak Brook Chamber of
Commerce for steering this gathering. We are truly stronger together.
CELEBRATING OUR BRIDGE BUILDERS
Jan. 28, 2025 | One of our hallmark programs for 2024 was initiating the
Bridge Builders Award for Illinois General Assembly members who model the
Pro-Growth, Pro-Business, Pro-Illinois focus of our Chamber 2.0 approach.
This award is given equally to members of the Senate, House, and both political
caucuses who exhibit a bipartisan approach to solving issues facing the Illinois
Business Community.
On Monday, we gathered at the Chicago Bulls game to honor Senator Meg
Cappel, Representative Eva-Dina Delgado, Senator Jil Tracy ,and Representative
Jeff Keicher, CLU ChFC CPCU. Several board members and local elected
leaders were present. Thank you to Kimberly Pate Godden and Superior Air-
Ground Ambulance Service for hosting us.
Everyone had a great time watching the Bulls Win, and we recognized some
legislative leaders doing great things for business in Illinois! Thank you to
Senator Lakesia Collins and Alderperson Silvana Tabares for also joining us!
CONGRATULATIONS CUNNINGHAM
Feb. 4, 2025 | The Illinois Chamber team had the pleasure of supporting the
The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce at their annual Gala this past
week. The occasion provided the opportunity to celebrate Andrew Cunning
ham, Executive Director of Infrastructure Council who completed his cohort in
the Leadership Springfield program.
KELTNER SERVES AS JUDGE
Mar. 27, 2025 | Illinois Chamber’s Communications Director, Darbi Keltner,
had the privilege to serve as a judge in the Illinois Section AWWA District
